This page currently defines data collection within a fairly narrow context. The term is used much more broadly. See for example the range of articles classified under Category:Data collection --RichardVeryard 22:05, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
I got confused when I saw the first section named "DMP"? which doesn't fit as topic to describe data collection, while it can be under other title, such as "Tools for Data Collection". Shoully (talk) 11:15, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
