"The town is as mundane as Rome, looks like Venice and has the flair of Cuba."
What does this mean? How is Corfu as mundane as Rome? Where are the canals? I didn't know Cuba had a flair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.210.184.98 (talk) 21:14, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

I’ve added [citation needed] because I can’t find any reliable source confirming a 42.8 °C temperature in Corfu on 24 July 2007. Airport METAR data, HNMS summaries, and published analyses of the 2007 heatwaves all show Corfu staying below ~39 °C. If anyone has a verifiable primary source for this figure, please add it so the statement can be confirmed. Duncnbiscuit (talk) 22:48, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
