The suggestion is to merge this into Contrast (statistics). The original version of that article already discussed the concept of a contrast being a random variable (talked about variance arising from factors) so that it seems this has nothing really new. Some of the same material has already been put in Contrast (statistics), so it seems that both are not needed. Melcombe (talk) 10:47, 22 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
