I believe there are some changes you should consider ...
1-I didn't create video companies..they were media companies because they did more than create video. Citybuzz actually had rights to tv channels in hotels to broadcast editorial and ads on these channels. We created the programming and maintenanced and delivered to these channels thru a broadcast closed circuit network we owned with servers in each hotel. Likewise we owned time and contracts to tv on convention screens, taxis and airlines. this is called distribution and qualifies as a media distribution company...not just a video company. Programming mixed editorial content with ads. As an entrepreneur I was the first to deliver destination programming to these outlets.Check hotel, airline and Javits center sources and they will agree. So will CMT the company which was my partner is distributing content to taxis. This was the first example of branded video content for broadcast in that pay for play content was included in the programming ( one client was the MET Musueum---contact ..retired Marketing Director Harold Holzer)
You completely eliminated any mention of me producing the first fashion videos. In the eighties the NYTimes reprorted this on the front page of the biz section and called me an entrepreneur.These were distribuited in department stores. Vidicom was one of the first ocmpanies to video fasion show in the US and Eureope. But again it was our global satellite distribuTion of the footage to TV outletS AROUND THE GLOBE. That distinguished us as more than a video coMpany. If vidEO was not seen what was it work? My job was to create AND FIND THE EYEBALLS.(YOU EVEN REFER TO THIS IN YOUR REFERENCE WITH AN OBSERVER ARTICLE ON ME "BRANDED VDEO PIONEER CHRISTY FERER CAN FIND YOUR EYEBALLS ANYWHERE"
2-I received the French Legion of Honor in 2010 for distributing globally video runway footage my company created for Fashion houses globally. They paid for creation, distribution and follow up reports on what stations and in what hemisphere actually aired the footage. No one had ever taken fashion footage and distributed it seasonally on global satellites with the ability to track usage.
3- Update: I received the officier level of the French Legion of Honor for my consulting. with US French diplomats and aiding brigitte Macron with designing philanthropic programs. Reference: current French Amb to Germany-Francois Delattre---former French Ambassador to US. He gave me the Award in June,2022.

Under public servie...I was the FIRST FEMALE COMMISSIONER OF THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY. BLOOMBERG ALSO APPOINTED ME CO CHAIR OF DEVELOPMENT FOR THE 9/11 MUSUEM AND FOUNDATION. COI edit request: clarify Vidicom and Citybuzz

I am Christy Ferer, the subject of this article, and therefore have a conflict of interest. I will not edit the article directly and ask independent editors to review this request.

The Career section already identifies Vidicom and Citybuzz, but I believe it could more clearly explain their broader functions as media enterprises combining content creation, sponsor-funded programming, and distribution across broadcast and out-of-home platforms.

Suggested neutral wording:

“Vidicom developed a business model in which fashion houses paid for the production of runway coverage that was distributed to television news outlets; it later expanded into branded fashion and lifestyle programming. Ferer also developed Citybuzz as destination programming distributed through dedicated hotel channels, later expanding to taxis, in-flight video, websites, and subway Wi-Fi.”

The Observer profile describes Vidicom’s sponsor-funded production and distribution of fashion footage to news channels, Citybuzz’s dedicated hotel channel and later taxi and MTA Wi-Fi distribution, and characterizes Ferer as an early branded-video pioneer.
