The result of the move request was: no consensus. This discussion primarily hinged on questions of WP:PT2, i.e., does the topic of calmness have enough long-term significance to overcome its pageview deficit against other topics? On this point, participants were divided; while some felt that calmness held that long-term significance due to its longtime relevance to human existence, others argued that the article was close to being a WP:DICDEF and that that status weakened its claim to encyclopedic significance. Both views achieved similar levels of support, suggesting that neither appears to have dominated the other. Consequently, no consensus emerged as to whether primary topic status had been achieved. Oppose I am skeptical of DICDEFy topics being primary by long-term encyclopedic significance, and believe that disambiguation is best here. How often does anyone need to link Calm referring to the concept of calmness? -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠19:27, 9 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Oppose per Station1 and King of Hearts. It's very unlikely readers would be seeking the calmness article, which frankly isn't even very well-written and "calmness" is not an encyclopedic concept really in the first place. WP:NOTDICT applies here. — Amakuru (talk) 05:46, 27 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
