Against. Also on the Chartered Financial Analyst page - the Institute oversees other programs beyond the CFA charter, has its own history. One comprehensive article would be more confusing. Gary 17:28, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Is this a non-profit organization? If so, it should be made clear. Cristo39 (talk) 15:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
The History section can also be put in, earlier the CFA Institute was known as AIMR, and how the name changed to the CFA Institute. Kidakaka (talk) 11:03, 28 August 2012 (IST)

It doesn't seem accurate to have all other items in the list be cities or city-states but the United Kingdom is included when it's a country. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.140.65.203 (talk) 02:19, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
In some contexts, there are no differences between a "not-for-profit" organization and a "non-profit" organization. However, although I could be wrong, I believe that the United States distinguish between the two types of organization. On the CFA Institute website, it says that the organization is "not-for-profit," and the lede correctly states this. However, on the infobox for this article, it says that the organization is "non-profit." Is this a mistake? Should we fix this? What are people's thoughts on this? Thanks. I would like to request the following changes to the CFA Institute company page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CFA_Institute
Under Certificates: - Remove this line: Data Science for Investment Professionals Certificate - Add this line: Advanced Private Equity Certificate - Add this line: Principles of Sustainable Investing (Chinese)
Under Structure: - Change this line to make it seven certificates not six: The institute currently offers two credentials, six certificates, and one course.
CFA Institute no longer offers the Data Science Certificate, but does offer the Advanced Private Equity Certificate and the Principles of Sustainable Investing Certificate (in Simplified Chinese).
All programs can be verified on the CFA Institute's company website: https://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/all-programs
