Talk:Bone Fone

I removed the deletion proposal. The Bone Fone's notability comes from its place in the development of portable electronics. It represents an evolutionary step from hand-held electronics (transistor radios) to wearable technology (Walkman, iPod, smart phone). Granted, this product did not achieve the longevity of transistor radios, originating in 1947, and surviving to the present. The Sony Walkman line achieved greater popularity; iPods and smartphones achieved greater impact. But, the Bone Fone helped make the transition to products that the user could wear, freeing the hands for other activities, such as exercise or gardening. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CurtisJohnson (talkcontribs) 14:03, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

That's a fair enough explanation, but it would be handy to incorporate that in the article (with sources, obviously) somewhere along the line. The article as it currently stands just says that it was a thing that existed. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 23:02, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Having owned one of these I hope that the article can be improved to where it meets WP:GNG. FYI refs two and three did not go to any info to support their use in the article. MarnetteD|Talk 23:06, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, BigHaz. I've done the best I can in finding references to make that point.CurtisJohnson (talk) 16:09, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
