Blocking sets are well studied objects in finite projective geometry which is where they originated. Hypergraphs, which can be viewed as generalizations of finite geometries, can use the same basic terminology, but much less can be said due to the generality. I propose that this article be rewritten from the geometric point of view (and I have just started putting in this content, there is much more to come) and that the hypergraph interpretation be relegated to a section. This refactor of the article would put it in line with current literature - there is a rich and active component in geometry and almost nothing in hypergraphs. I will continue to add content for a while before doing this in case someone wishes to propose a different tact. Bill Cherowitzo (talk) 20:47, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
