Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 4 external links on Amber. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
An editor has reviewed this edit and fixed any errors that were found.

Would anyone agree that this page is overloaded with images? Would it be a better to condense many of the images in a gallery leaving only the pertinent images within the article? A. Z. Colvin • Talk 22:47, 31 March 2016 (UTC)

Please remove the word "oriental" from the description of the scent.
Previously: "warm, musky, rich and honey-like, and also somewhat oriental and earthy." With edit: "warm, musky, rich and honey-like, and also somewhat earthy."
Thank you! 50.200.153.132 (talk) 20:01, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

Regarding the use of the term "wastebasket" in the classifications of amber spcificaly type IV, I believe the intention is that it is something of a miscellaneous category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1015:B125:293C:71D4:AF5A:9587:B3BA (talk) 23:08, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Since amber is itself fossilized plant resin the meaning of " oldest fossil found in amber" is confusing. Denniskaegi (talk) 17:40, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
Under imitation materials, there are two lists. First, young resins used as imitations, then plastics used as imitations. But the first item in the second list is "stained glass (inorganic material) and other ceramic materials". Neither of those are plastics. It does seem to be the only item that doesn't fit, and it doesn't fit the first list either, but that means something needs adjusting. Maybe a third list, maybe renaming the second list, maybe something else. --Cromwellt|talk|contribs 01:40, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
“used as a healing agent in folk medicine.”
is a bewildering phrase that seems deeply antithetical to the factual information on wikipedia. This phrase, especially in the intro paragraph, gives credence to the absolutely pseudoscientific belief that amber or any other crystal has some sort of biological or healing properties. At the very least some sort of qualifier to say that this is a pseudoscientific belief with no evidence should be added, but I would probably delete the whole sentence. 2601:143:8201:AE90:51A0:94E7:E31E:CE8E (talk) 22:14, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
