Qeshm (Persian : قشم )[ a] is a coastal city in the Central District of Qeshm County , Hormozgan province, Iran , serving as capital of both the county and the district.[ 4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 24,461 in 5,882 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 28,602 people in 7,524 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 40,678 people in 11,945 households.[ 2]
