Plurale is a studio album by Italian singer Mina, released in 1976 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. It was originally distributed as a double album with Singolare.[3]
Overview
The peculiarity of the album is that it was entirely recorded with the technique of the subsequent overdubbing of a single voice of Mina, which with its three octaves of extension gave the possibility of creating vocal formations ranging from the trio to the sixteen-voice choir. This album is contrasted with Singolare, where only one voice of Mina is heard.[4]
In 1977 the album won first prize at the XV Italian Music Critics Awards.[5] On 29 December 2021 an episode of the TV program 33 Giri – Italian Masters was shown, which was entirely dedicated to the album Plurale.[6]
