At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,487 in 301 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,228 people in 303 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,010 people in 279 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In 2023, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Bala Geriveh District.[7]
