The building was designed by Gustaf Nyström and the market hall began operations in 1889.[2][3] The building technology of the market hall was last renovated between 2012 and 2014, when the hall was closed for a year and a half.[4]
Service
The market center has a total of about 20 different vendors and cafés, whose product selection consists mostly of food.[5] Among them is one of the smallest Alko stores in Finland.[6]
