Obninsk Nuclear Power Plant (Russian: Обнинская АЭС, romanized: Obninskaja AES; pronunciationⓘ) was built in the "Science City" of Obninsk,[1]Kaluga Oblast, about 110 km (68 mi) southwest of Moscow, Soviet Union.
