Prehistoric Native American archaeological site with evidence of human occupation from 9000 BC to 1800 AD. Best known for its Burial Urn culture artifacts.[11]
African American school founded in 1893 by Dr. William J. Edwards, a graduate of Tuskegee University. It grew over time until, at its height, it included a campus of 27 buildings, a staff of 35, and over 400 students.
