Hano Technical University’s goals are also aligned with Somalia’s developmental needs to educate skilled students in pivotal investment sectors such as agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and energy, with the aim of enhancing economic and employment opportunities. The university further contributes by offering advanced facilities and engaging in research that stimulates economic growth, increases job opportunities, and raises state revenues, thus propelling ongoing innovation and development within Somalia.
The university accepts students who have graduated from secondary schools or those who have GCE equivalent certificates. Before enrolment, students have to pass a qualifying examinations (oral and written) in order to enroll in their program of study.
