Merci is the eighth studio album by French rock band Magma, released on 4 May 1985.
The album largely departs from Magma's other offerings, with a more soul and jazz-funk influence.[citation needed] The lyrical language Kobaïan, created by the band's leader Christian Vander, was joined by English and French.
After this album's release, the band split, and would not release another album for twenty years until 2004's K.A (Köhntarkösz Anteria).
