The village consists of predominantly the JanjuaRajput clan and holds the record of producing the highest number of army officers from all ranks, in the entire country. Over 500+ people have reached the rank of Lieutenants, 25+ people have reached the rank of Brigadier, nine people have reached the rank of Major-General, and five people have reached the rank of Lieutenant-General. He was son of Maj. Khudadad Khan Janjua, who was son of Lt. Babu Kala Khan Janjua, who was son of Raja Fazal Khan Janjua.
