Amur Oblast (Russian: Аму́рская о́бласть, romanized: Amurskaya oblast, IPA: [ɐˈmurskəjə ˈobləsʲtʲ]) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast), located on the banks of the Amur and Zeya Rivers in the Russian Far East. The administrative center of the oblast, is the city of Blagoveshchensk. As of the 2010 Census, the oblast's population was 830,103.[1]
