Leonardo Artur de Melo (born 23 March 1995), commonly known as Léo Artur, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for V.League 1 club Hanoi Police.

Career

Corinthians

Léo began his career in the youth squad of Corinthians. He was part of the squad that won the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2012. He was called up by then manager Tite to integrate the main team of Corinthians in 2013. He made his league debut for the club against Paulista on 20 January 2013.[1] He rejoined Corinthians' squad on April 13, 2017.

Guarani

Léo made his league debut for Guarani against Ferroviária on 19 February 2014.[2]

Penapolense

Léo scored on his league debut for Penapolense against Mogi Mirim on 18 February 2015, scoring in the 36th minute.[3]

Paysandu

Léo made his league debut for Paysandu against América on 28 July 2015.[4] He scored his first goal for the club against ABC on 16 September 2015, scoring in the 13th minute.[5]

Mogi Mirim

Léo made his league debut for Mogi Mirim against Osasco Audax on 31 January 2016.[6] He scored his first goal for the club against Linense on 17 February 2016, scoring in the 8th minute.[7]

Oeste

Léo made his league debut for Oeste against Atlético Goianiense on 14 May 2016.[8] He scored his first goal for the club against CRB on 24 May 2016.[9]

Osasco Audax

Léo made his league debut for Osasco Audax against São Paulo on 5 February 2017.[10] He scored his first goal for the club against Ituano on 25 February 2017, scoring in the 50th minute.[11]

Ponte Preta

Léo made his league debut for Ponte Preta against Atlético Mineiro on 28 May 2017.[12] He scored his first goal for the club against Coritiba on 20 July 2017, scoring in the 16th minute.[13]

Second spell at Oeste

During his second spell with the club, Léo made his league debut against CRB.[14]

Ferroviária

Léo made his league debut for Ferroviária against Ituano on 31 January 2019.[15]

Fluminense

Léo made his league debut for Fluminense against Goiás on 29 April 2019.[16]

Sport Recife

Léo made his league debut for Sport Recife against Atlético Mineiro on 21 September 2019.[17]

Mirassol

Léo made his league debut for Mirassol against Bangu on 20 September 2020.[18] He scored his first goal for the club against Nacional PR on 17 October 2020, scoring in the 63rd minute.[19]

Figueirense

Léo made his league debut for Figueirense against Operário Ferroviário on 7 November 2020.[20] He scored his first goal for the club against Cruzeiro on 21 November 2020, scoring in the 11th minute.[21]

Third spell at Oeste

During his third spell with Oeste, he made his league debut for the club against Taubaté on 10 March 2021.[22] He scored his first two goals for the club against RB Brasil on 21 April 2021, scoring in the 10th and 55th minute.[23]

Sampaio Corrêa

Léo made his league debut for Sampaio Corrêa against Confiança on 18 September 2021.[24] He scored his first goal for the club against Remo on 1 October 2021, scoring in the 13th minute.[25]

Londrina

Léo made his league debut for Londrina against Maringá on 23 January 2022.[26]

Second spell at Figueirense

During his second spell at the club, made his league debut for Figueriense against Hercílio Luz on 12 March 2022.[27] He scored his first goal for the club against Altos on 19 April 2022, scoring in the 52nd minute.[28]

Quy Nhon Binh Dinh

In October 2023, Léo joined Vietnamese side Quy Nhon Binh Dinh. He scored a goal on his league debut for Quy Nhon Binh Dinh against Hanoi Police on 22 October 2023, scoring in the 38th minute.[29] He scored 8 goals during the 2023–24 V.League 1 season, playing a crucial role in Quy Nhon Binh Dinh runners-up campaign.

Hanoi Police

On 13 August 2024, Léo signed for V.League 1 fellow Hanoi Police.[30]
