John Noel Hillier (born 1944) is a former athlete who represented both England and Great Britain.[2] John threw a PB of 59.76m on the 27th of July, 1976, in Edinburgh, Scotland.[3]
John is currently an athletics coach, and has coached the likes of Myrtle Augee,[4] Lawrence Okoye,[5] Shaunagh Brown[6] & Nicholas Percy.[7]
John currently coaches a large number of athletes across a wide range of ages, currently the likes of Cleo Agyepong,[8] Brydon Duncan [9] and Timi Babatunde [10] are under his guidance.
Athletics career
He represented England and won a bronze medal in the discus event, at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand.[11][12] Four years later he represented England in the discus event, at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.[13][14]
