Ismat Ismayil oglu Gayibov (Azerbaijani : Ismət Qayıbov Ismail oğlu ) (born in 1942 in Ganja , Azerbaijan ) was the Public Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan.[1] [2]
Ismet Gaibov was born on October 8, 1942 in Ganja . He graduated from the Law Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University in 1967. He began his career in 1963.[3]
He was killed in a helicopter which was shot down by Armenian forces near the Karakend village of Khojavend district in Nagorno-Karabakh , Azerbaijan. There were no survivors of the crash.[4]
Gayibov's official burial was done at the Avenue of the Honored Ones Cemetery in Baku .[2] A stadium in Baku, an oil tanker, many schools and streets were named after him.
