Haladaptatus (common abbreviation Hap.[1]) is a genus of halophilic archaea in the family of Halobacteriaceae.[2]

The members of Haladaptatus thrive in environments with salt concentrations approaching saturation[3]

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[4] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).[2]
