Municipality in Quebec, Canada
Girardville (French pronunciation: [ʒiʁaʁvil] ) is a municipality in the Canadian province of Quebec , located within the regional county municipality of Maria-Chapdelaine . The municipality had a population of 1,018 in the Canada 2021 Census . The municipality is named in honour of Joseph Girard , former federal deputy for Lac-St-Jean County.[citation needed ]
