Useful Fiction is an American strategic consulting company that uses narrative fiction and speculative storytelling to help organizations explore future technologies, security issues, and organizational change.[1][failed verification] It was co-founded by authors August Cole and Peter W. Singer and is known for promoting the concept of "FICINT" (fiction intelligence), which combines research-based analysis with fictional narratives to examine potential future scenarios.[2]
