Tom Fischer is an American whiskey writer and the founder of BourbonBlog.com.[1][2]
Fischer became known for his coverage of the Pappy Van Winkle theft case in Kentucky. In 2015, Reuters cited him on the secondary-market value of the stolen bourbon, and Atlas Obscura later described him as having covered the case from the beginning.[3][4]
He later appeared in the Netflix docuseries Heist, in episodes about the case..[5][6]
Fischer has also led whiskey seminars at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival and has been quoted by GOLF.com on American whiskey and rye.[7][8][9]
