"Sugarbuzz" is a song by American rock band Marvelous 3. It was released on October 31, 2000, as the single for their third album, ReadySexGo.

Background

The single was released on October 31, 2000, shortly after the release of ReadySexGo in September of the same year. The song received moderate regional airplay, but failed to replicate the major mainstream Billboard success of their previous minor hit, "Freak of The Week".

Themes and composition

The song was described by Butch Walker as a "snotty, lyrical send-off to anyone trying to harsh your vibes." The song relied on a heavy hook that read, "You can stick that sign up your ass/The one that says it won't last,".[1]

Personnel

  • Butch Walker - vocals, guitar
  • Jayce Fincher - bass
  • Doug "Slug" Mitchell - drums
