Star7(*7) is an discontinued project of an PDA capable of control household devices, like TVs, VHS players, etc. It was created by Sun Microsystems, and used Oak (the project that Java inherited) in its OS.

History

The Green Team, which had 13 people, including the leader, James Gosling.

The project was created in 1991, when the Green Team (team responsible for creating the Oak project) tought in a PDA that used their new, interative language, Oak. It was a great project, but it was discontinued in 1992, because the companies didn't interested it it. It was selled 6 units of it.
