"Songwriter" is a song by the U.K singer and songwriter John Galea, released on 27th March 2026 through Zamna Records.[1] It was written by Galea in collaboration with producer Oscar Lo Brutto. It debuted at number 33 on the Official Singles Sales Chart.[2]
Background
Conception and composition
Songwriter is the 1st single to be taken from John's forthcoming debut album and is about sharing what love you have with each other.[3]
Commercial performance
John debuted the track with Notion Magazine and it debuted on The Official U.K Download Chart at #31 on April 23rd 2026. This is Galea's first single to debut on the Top 40 U.K Charts.
Music video
Filmed in Central London with Max Benoist the video the video has been featured by numerous media outlets.[4]
