Slings is an Italian trap group. They were formed in Brescia in 2018 and are composed of Prince the Goat and Ibra the Boy.^[1]

They began to gain popularity in 2019, positioning themselves as a bridge between Italy and the United States because of their musical proximity to overseas rap, although they still maintain their own personal style.

Career

Slings was born as a project between Prince The Goat and Ibra The Boy, both originally from Brescia. The two childhood friends faced numerous financial and personal challenges, finding strength in their collaboration. Their music reflects real life experiences. The aim of their project is to convey positive messages to their listeners.^[2] The group formed in 2018 and gained mainstream attention with the singles "Lasciatemi", "Bambino", and "Stupido (Freestyle)". They reached success in 2019 with the song "Ci sta", followed by "Beef," produced by Chosen1, all of which became popular hits. In 2020, they released the single "Dog" and collaborated with VillaBanks on "Beauty". Known for their versatile style, which ranges from introspective songs to lighter, danceable pieces, Slings achieved gold status with their track "Onlyfans". They have collaborated with artists such as Bello Figo and MamboLosco, cementing their presence in the Italian rap scene.^[3]
