Simplifi is a Romanian qualified trust service provider (QTSP) and digital trust platform operated by Simpliworks SRL. The company provides qualified electronic signatures, qualified electronic seals and qualified electronic time stamps, together with digital document signing and management services for individuals and organizations.

Simplifi is included in the European Union Trusted List (EUTL)[1] and operates under the European regulatory framework for electronic identification and trust services established by the eIDAS Regulation.

Regulatory status

Simplifi is a qualified trust service provider under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 establishing the European Digital Identity Framework (eIDAS 2.0).[2]

In Romania, trust service providers are supervised by the Autoritatea pentru Digitalizarea României (ADR). Simplifi and its qualified trust services are included in the Romanian Trusted List and can be verified through the European Union Trusted List infrastructure maintained by the European Commission.[1]

Under the eIDAS Regulation, qualified electronic signatures based on qualified certificates issued in one European Union Member State are recognized as qualified electronic signatures in all other Member States.[3]

Services and platform

Simplifi provides qualified electronic trust services and a digital platform for creating, sending, signing and managing electronic documents.

The platform provides access to qualified electronic signatures, qualified electronic seals and qualified electronic time stamps, as well as functionality for multi-party and bulk signing workflows, reusable document templates and document storage.[4]

Simplifi Sign

Simplifi Sign is a desktop application that enables Simplifi's remotely managed certificates to be used with external applications and services. It provides interoperability with ANAF's Spațiul Privat Virtual (SPV) for authentication and with Adobe applications for signing PDF documents, without requiring a physical cryptographic token.[5]
