Where to get help
If you need help editing or submitting your draft, please ask us a question at the AfC Help Desk or get live help from experienced editors. These venues are only for help with editing and the submission process, not to get reviews.
If you need feedback on your draft, or if the review is taking a lot of time, you can try asking for help on the talk page of a relevant WikiProject. Some WikiProjects are more active than others so a speedy reply is not guaranteed.
To improve your odds of a faster review, tag your draft with relevant WikiProject tags using the button below. This will let reviewers know a new draft has been submitted in their area of interest. For instance, if you wrote about a female astronomer, you would want to add the Biography, Astronomy, and Women scientists tags.
Please note that if the issues are not fixed, the draft will be declined again.

restaurant-focused private equity firm
Savory Fund is a Utah-based private equity firm that invests in emerging restaurant brands.[1] Founded by husband-wife partnership Andrew K. Smith and Shauna K. Smith in 2018, Savory Fund currently has more than $750 million in assets under management and provides growth capital and operational support to multi-unit restaurant concepts (a mix of QSR, fast casual, and casual) across the United States.[2][3]
Prior to Savory Fund, co-founders Andrew and Shauna Smith were the founders of Four Foods Group, which owned 130+ franchise locations of Little Caesars and Kneaders Bakery & Cafe.[4]
Savory's portfolio brands
Savory currently has investments in 13 portfolio companies across three funds:[5]
Swig, a Utah-based Dirty Soda shop.[6] In 2022, The Larry H. Miller Company acquired a majority stake in Swig, with Savory Fund retaining a significant minority stake.[7] The deal was recognized as Franchise Times 2023 Deal of the Year.[8]
Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, a Utah-based fast casual concept serving Hawaiian plate lunch.[9] In 2024, Blue Marlin Partners and Trive Capital acquired a majority stake in Mo' Bettahs, with Savory Fund retaining a significant minority stake.[7] The deal was named Mergers & Acquisitions' 2025 Food and Beverage Deal of the Year.[10]
Every year, Savory Fund hosts a free conference for restaurant operators called Restaurantology, which is attended by 500+ operators from around the country.[26]
