Samuel Ifrid (born 2006–2007) is a Swiss racing driver who is currently competing with Cram Motorsport in the 2026 Formula Winter Series.

Career

Karting

He began karting in 2019, and won the 2020 Swiss Rotax Max Challenge in the Junior class.[1] Ifrid competed in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals from 2021 to 2023.[2] In 2023 to 2025, he came runner-up to the Swiss Kart Championship in the X30 Challenge category three times in a row for UBIQ Racing.[3][4][5][6]

Formula 4

Ifrid made his single-seater debut with Cram Motorsport in the 2026 Formula Winter Series.[7] He came sixth in the third race of the opening round at Circuito do Estoril.[8] In the final race of the third round at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, he achieved a seventh place which was also classed as his maiden win in the rookie category.[9] He scored his highest finish of a fifth place in the penultimate round at MotorLand Aragón. Ifrid collected three points in the final round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and ended his first single-seater campaign fourteenth in the standings.

Personal life

Alongside karting, he is a rugby union player and was selected for the French National Team.[10] He currently lives in Alsace.[11]
