  • Comment: We can't accept IMDB, the Daily Mail or Mobygames as reliable sources, see WP:RSP. We still need to have all facts referenced according to reliable sources, plus we need ideally three examples of the WP:GOLDENRULE. The Guardian story is very much a glancing reference and not of significant length as far as the subject is concerned. ChrysGalley (talk) 20:06, 6 July 2026 (UTC)

Rupert Humphries is a British-Australian Video Game Writer.[1] He is currently the Senior Vice President of Narrative and Head Writer at Rockstar Games.[2][3][4] Born in October 1982, he is the youngest son of Barry Humphries, the iconic Australian comedian and Dianne Millstead's 10-year marriage.[5] Rupert Humphries had been part of the trio of lead writers responsible for all of Rockstar Games' titles, starting with Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, Grand Theft Auto V, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, L.A. Noire and a minor writing pedestrian dialogue credit on Red Dead Redemption (2010) since 2008, led by Dan Houser and partnered with Michael Unsworth.[6][1] In early spring 2019, after Dan Houser went on a sabbatical, post-release of Red Dead Redemption 2,[7][8] Rupert Humphries took over his responsibilities as the Head Writer, eventually being promoted to Senior Vice President of Narrative once Dan Houser's departure was sealed in March 11, 2020.
