Rodd's is a brand of bottled vegan iced coffee launched in May 2025 by YouTubers William Lenney (WillNE) and James Marriott. It is a dairy-free and plant-based iced coffee and as of July 2026, it is the top selling vegan iced coffee brand in the UK.

History

The company went through various potential names. These included "Thursday," a name inspired by Jesse Sebastiani's company 'Sunday,' and the two nearly settled on the name "Roasted" until Marriott discovered another British coffee brand by the same name operating near his Brighton home. The name "Rodd's" was ultimately settled on, while Marriott and Lenney stated on The Useless Hotline Podcast that the reason for the choice will not be revealed to the public: "It's a secret. [...] Yeah, we can't tell. We're going to just keep that one.".[1]

Before the product's launch, Lenney and Marriott began an Instagram page teasing the launch of the new product. The pair wore t-shirts reading "FOLLOW @roddsroddsrodds" in various YouTube videos leading viewers to follow the accounts online, which reached over 95,000 followers before launch.[2]

Speaking to The Times, Lenney said "We felt like you would go into the store and you’d end up with a milkshake instead of an iced coffee. We just didn’t really like the feel and the amount of sugar and the calories in some of them".[2]

The coffee was first made available in 300 Sainsbury's stores across the UK in May 2025.[3] Later that year, the brand expanded availability to Morrisons stores, as well as online on Ocado.

In January 2026, Antonios Geornaras was made chief executive of the brand, who had previously been business development director at Sainsbury’s. In May 2026, the company reached £3 million total sales[4] and become profitable.[3] Rodd's also won the award for Digital Commercial or Single Branded Video at the TellyCast Digital Video Awards 2026.[5] In July, Lenney and Marriott handed out 10,000 bottles of the iced coffee at Wimbledon.[3]

Overview

Rodd's is sold in 250ml bottles at £2.20 per bottle.[6] It is marketed to a Gen Z audience.[6] The product's label is mostly black with a pair of eyes on the front as well as the logo and coloured stamp depending on which of the six flavours the bottle contains.
