The Reynella Markets was a large complex of small, medium and large independent shops that existed from 1978 to 1995[1].
The shops came in various sizes, selling many different categories of items (including food stalls in the Food Court and fruit and vegetables directly from suppliers to the Greengrocer) as well as a Main Stage with a DJ stand, performers in mascot costumes (like Ellie The Elephant and The Reynellasaurus) handing out balloons on sticks) and various solo artists (caricature artist, face painter) around the market as well as more, depending on season or promotional event.
