Austin Antwi Boakye is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter and performer known by his stage name RCee. His genre of music is a mixture of Afro-fusion, Pop, R&B, and Highlife.
His sound blends the nostalgic Ghanaian soul of the 1990s with modern R&B and Afropop. He has been compared to legends like Daddy Lumba.[1]
RCee released his debut EP, How Did We Get Here?[2], in 2024 and an EP in 2026, Young Daddy[3].
Born in Bremang, Kumasi, RCee's career began through his father, who played entire discographies of classic artists on Saturdays.
He attended Opoku Ware School (OWASS) in Kumasi. He competed in rap cyphers and dorm-room hooks.[4]
