The platform consolidates purchasing, accounts payable automation, and data analytics in a single system.
Procurify was founded in Vancouver by Aman Mann and co-founders who met while studying at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT).[2] The company participated in GrowLab, a Vancouver startup accelerator, in 2013.[3]
In July 2015, Procurify raised a seed round of $4 million from investors including Point Nine Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, the Business Development Bank of Canada, Ryan Holmes (founder of Hootsuite), and Steve Johnson.[3] At that time the company reported processing purchase orders in more than 58 countries.[3]
In 2019, Procurify raised $20 million in a Series B funding round.[4]
In October 2023, the company closed a Series C funding round of US$50 million (approximately CA$68 million), led by Ten Coves Capital, with participation from Export Development Canada, Information Venture Partners, and HarbourVest Partners.[2][5] Following the round, total funding exceeded CA$95 million.[5] Steve Lula, a partner at Ten Coves Capital, joined the company's board of directors.[5]
As of October 2023, Procurify served more than 700 customers, including Questrade, SkipTheDishes, Hootsuite, and Asana.[2][5]
Procurify's platform provides modules for procurement intake and purchase request management, multi-level approval workflows, purchase order management, accounts payable automation, and spend analytics. The software uses artificial intelligence for anomaly detection in orders and invoices.[2]
