Peace Itimi is a Nigerian Entrepreneur. She is also known as the founder of Founders Connect, a platform that brings founders together to share their stories.
Not much is known about her early life, except that she was born in Nigeria. Her last name, "Itimi," is of Ijaw origin in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
Although she works in the tech sector today, Peace studied Medical Biochemistry at Delta State University (DELSU).[1]
Her career began while she was still an undergraduate at DELSU when she applied for and became a Google Student Ambassador. That helped shift her from her program of study at the time after she became interested in Digital Marketing. After graduating, she did her National Youth Service Corps service with Webcoupers, a digital marketing agency in Lagos.[2]
In 2016, she co-founded a digital marketing agency with a friend but left after two years. Peace joined Wild Fusion in 2018 and led digital marketing training while there.[3]
She became the head of growth at Stax[4] in 2022, two years after she started her Founders Connect show[5]. Peace has also led marketing at Smile ID. In addition, she is a TED Speaker who spoke at the TED2024 Conference in Vancouver, Canada.[6]
She is also the brain behind the Innovating Africa Documentary, a one-plus-hour documentary featuring African technology pioneers such as MainOne founder Funke Opeke, Paga founder Tayo Oviosu, and others.[7]
