The round was led by Cambridge Capital, a US-based supply chain investor, and included participation from SoftBank Ventures Asia.[4] At the time of the funding, news outlets reported the company served clients such as Nespresso and had integrated with over 700 carriers. The stated purpose of the funding was for global expansion, particularly into North America and Europe.[5]
Arne Jeroschewski and Dana von der Heide founded Parcel Perform in Singapore in 2016.[6] Jeroschewski previously served as Vice President of Business Development for DHL eCommerce Asia Pacific and was a co-founder of ZALORA. Von der Heide had worked in global strategy for logistics firms.[3] In interviews, the co-founders stated their goal was to give e-commerce retailers more control over the post-purchase customer experience.[2]
