History
Mule Digital was founded in 2026 by Justin Reynolds, Emile Holemans, and Floris Brugman.[1] Reynolds studied Applied Computer Science and Multimedia & Creative Technologies and serves as Founder and Creative Director. Holemans also studied Multimedia & Creative Technologies and is Co-Founder and Creative Technologist. Brugman is an alumnus of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer.[1]
The studio describes its focus as owner-operated small businesses in rural and small-town markets — a segment its founders have characterised as under-served by larger digital agencies.[1]

Two of the three founders are based in Belgium and one in the Netherlands; client work is delivered remotely.[1] The studio works in English, Dutch (both Flemish and the Dutch spoken in the Netherlands), and French where the client market requires it.[3]
In the United States, the studio's primary service areas are Dodge County, Wisconsin (including Beaver Dam and Waupun), Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, and parts of Michigan including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Plymouth, and Canton.[3] In Europe, the studio works across Flanders (including Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Waregem and Zulte), the Brussels-Capital Region, and country-wide in the Netherlands.[3]
Selected work
Published case studies include identity and web design work for Alpha Solutions, a business-to-business platform for independent marketing organizations; Equator Advocaten, a Belgian law firm with a trilingual practice; Vellum, a software as a service product; Noble Auto, an automotive aftermarket business; and Luxe Barber, a barbershop brand and booking site.[4]
