MonoVM is a web hosting provider with headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey. The company provides infrastructure and hosting services including virtual private server (VPS) hosting, dedicated servers, shared web hosting, remote desktop (RDP) access, domain registration, and SSL certificates for both Linux and Windows environments.^[1]

MonoVM was founded in 2012 by three brothers with the stated goal of providing affordable, globally accessible hosting services. The company launched with a small team and two server locations.^[2] Within roughly four months it reported reaching its one-thousandth customer.

The company is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, and operates as a privately held business in the IT services sector. Its primary service, operated through the domain monovm.com, has positioned itself as a VPS-focused provider while also offering dedicated servers, shared hosting, and domain services.

Over time MonoVM expanded its data center footprint, growing from two initial locations to more than 25 data centers worldwide across regions including North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Reported locations include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Manchester, Zurich, Vienna, Warsaw, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Florida, Montreal, Dubai, Singapore, and Hong Kong, among others.^[3]

In November 2024, MonoVM announced the addition of three new VPS hosting locations in Brazil, Japan, and Turkey as part of its global expansion.^[4]

In April 2025, MonoVM was ranked first in the "Best Value" category of the independent benchmarking site VPSBenchmarks.^[5]

MonoVM's infrastructure is built on enterprise-grade hardware, including Supermicro server platforms, Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory, and NVMe/SSD storage in RAID configurations. The company uses VMware ESXi and KVM hypervisors to deliver its virtualization services and advertises a 99.99% uptime guarantee with 24/7 customer support.
