Mitchell Davis is an American food writer, journalist, strategist and consultant. He perviously served as Chief Strategy Officer of the James Beard Foundation, where he worked for nearly three decades.[1]. He holds a Ph.D. in Food Studies from New York University.
In 2015, Davis was selected by the U.S State Department to serves as Chief Creative Officer for the USA Pavillion at Expo Milano 2015.[2]
He has contributed writings to various publications and authored several cookbooks including The Mensch Chef, Kitchen Sense, and the e-book My Provence (Alta Editions) with Chef Laurent Gras which won the IACP Judges Award in 2013.[3]
Davis was named one of 50 Most Influential Jews in America by The Forward and one of The Greatest 100 Home Cooks of All Time by Epicurious[4]
