Minitax (Korean: 미니택스) is a South Korean tax management platform for sole proprietors, freelancers and small-business operators. The platform provides bookkeeping, tax return preparation, electronic tax invoice issuance, tax-related certificate retrieval and access to professional tax support through mobile applications and a web-based service.[1]
Minitax is operated by 함께하는세무회계, a South Korean accounting and tax practice. Accountants participated in the development of the platform, which combines digital tax-management tools with access to professional tax-agent support.[2]
History
Minitax was officially launched in May 2026 as a mobile and web-based tax service for South Korean business operators.[2] It was developed in response to difficulties experienced by small-business owners when organizing sales, purchases, accounting records and documents required for tax filing.
At launch, the platform supported value-added tax returns, comprehensive income tax returns, bookkeeping, tax-related certificate retrieval and chat-based consultation. It was designed to allow users to handle relatively straightforward tax procedures directly while providing access to professional assistance for matters requiring accounting or tax review.[2]

Tax filing
Minitax supports the preparation and processing of South Korean value-added tax returns and comprehensive income tax returns. Users can review sales, purchase and supporting-document information collected for a tax period and use the information to prepare a return.[2]
For comprehensive income tax, the platform supports bookkeeping-based tax preparation. It also allows users to review the difference between filing on the basis of accounting records and filing using an estimated-expense method.[2]
Hometax data connection
The platform connects with information available through Hometax, the electronic tax administration service operated by South Korea's National Tax Service. With user authentication, Minitax can retrieve and organize tax information such as electronic tax invoices, tax-exempt invoices, cash-receipt records and credit-card transaction information.[1]
The collected information is presented according to the relevant tax filing period so that users can review the records required for tax preparation.
Bookkeeping and business records
