Marc Rousso is an American entrepreneur and DJ based in the Seattle, Washington area. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer of JayMarc Homes, a luxury homebuilding company based in Mercer Island, Washington, and the founder of Charité Records, a nonprofit record-label imprint that donates proceeds to charity.[1][2][3][4]

Rousso attended the University of Washington.[3]

Career

Homebuilding

Rousso and business partner Jay Mezistrano operated an earlier development venture prior to founding JayMarc Homes in 2010.[1] Trade publications have profiled JayMarc Homes for its business practices and recovery after the 2008 housing downturn.[1][2] In 2015, the Mercer Island Reporter reported that JayMarc Homes was named the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year”.[5] Pro Builder reported that JayMarc Homes received a Silver award in the National Housing Quality Awards program on its first application.[2]

Music

Rousso began DJing in the early 1990s and later returned to music after focusing on real estate and homebuilding.[3] In 2022, Dance Music Northwest reported that he appeared on lineups connected to Miami Music Week, including events associated with Claptone’s “Masquerade”.[3] Music outlets have covered releases on Charité Records and described the label as a nonprofit imprint that donates proceeds to Friends of the Children.[3][4][6]
