Draft:LunaSim

LunaSim is a free and open-source, browser-based system dynamics modeling and simulation software.[1] It provides a graphical environment for constructing and simulating stock and flow models.[2]

LunaSim has been the subject of research presented at the International System Dynamics Conference. A 2024 paper introduced the browser-based modeling software,[2] while subsequent conference papers described an integrated artificial intelligence assistant in 2025[3] and support for Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis in 2026.[4]

The software was the winning application for Maryland's 6th congressional district in the 2023 Congressional App Challenge.[5] The System Dynamics Society also lists LunaSim among open-source tools for system dynamics modeling.[1]
