Lodgify is a Spanish software as a service company, headquartered in Barcelona, that develops management software for vacation rental owners and property managers. Its platform lets hosts build a booking website, take direct reservations and payments, and synchronise availability and rates across online travel agencies such as Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com.[1][2]

History

Lodgify was founded in 2012 in Barcelona by Dennis Klett and Marco De Gregorio, operating under the legal entity Codebay Solutions SLU.[1][3] The company developed browser-based software that allowed vacation rental businesses to create a branded website, take online bookings and process payments from a single system.[3]

The company raised early venture funding as it expanded, including a $5 million round reported by the travel-technology publication PhocusWire.[3] In November 2022 it raised $30 million in a Series B round led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Bonsai Partners, Aldea Ventures and the Institut Català de Finances, alongside existing investors Nauta Capital and Intermedia Vermögensverwaltung.[1][4][2] At the time of the round the company reported more than 170 employees.[1]

In February 2025, co-founder Dennis Klett stepped down as chief executive to become a non-executive board member, and Shaun Shirazian, previously chief product officer at Pipedrive, was appointed chief executive. At that point the company reported more than 330 employees working remotely and hosts in over 100 countries.[5]

Products

Lodgify's platform is aimed at independent hosts and small and medium-sized property management companies. Its features include a website builder, a central reservation system, payment processing, and a channel manager that synchronises listings, rates and availability with third-party booking channels including Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia and Google Vacation Rentals.[5][1] In 2023 the company integrated with Google Vacation Rentals, and Google lists Lodgify among its vacation rentals connectivity partners.[6][7]
