Leon Software is a Polish cloud-based aviation software provider headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. The company develops the software of the same name, used by aviation operators for flight scheduling, crew management, charter sales, maintenance planning, and report preparation.

Leon Software was founded in 2007 by Paweł Kruk, its CEO. Originally, the software was available only on the domestic market, with its international premiere in 2009.^[1][2]

In 2012, the company developed a mobile app for crew members.^[1]

In 2014, the company introduced the first version of API for 3rd party developers.^[1]

In May 2022, Global Jet selected Leon Software for sales, operations, and crew management.^[3] In August 2022, Leon Software entered into a partnership with Jetex to integrate its flight scheduling system with Jetex’s trip planning services.^[4]

In February 2023, the platform was integrated with ASQS, a provider of web-based safety, quality, and risk management systems.^[5]

In May 2023, Tag Aviation adopted Leon Software as its aviation software solution.^[6] The company also partnered with Euro Jet, a flight support services provider.^[7]

Leon Software includes 6 main modules: Sched, Sales, OPS, Crew, MX and Reports.^[22][23]

The main purpose of the Sched module is creating flight schedules.^[24][25]

The Sales module serves creating quotations. Leon is also integrated with several marketplaces, including Avinode. Requests originating from them can be managed in this module.^[26][27]

The Crew module's main function is calculating Flight Time Limits. The system manages crew duty roster, monitors documents such as licenses, and warns about possible flight and duty time violations.^[28][29]

The OPS (Operation Control) module is designed for the dispatch process. A checklist - the behavior of the items of which can be defined using Checklist Query Language - provides a visual overview of flight statuses and ordered services.^[30][31]

MX in the MX module stands for maintenance. Some of its functions include the ability check general details of the fleet, oil consumption monitoring, insertion of limits for the next maintenance.^[32][33]
