LearnWorlds (CY) Ltd. is a privately held education technology company headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus.^[1] The company develops LearnWorlds, a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) used to create, host, and distribute online courses and digital training programs.^[2][3]

LearnWorlds was founded in 2014 by Panos Siozos, Fanis Despotakis, and George Palaigeorgiou.^[2]

In July 2019, LearnWorlds raised approximately $1.1 million in seed funding led by Marathon Venture Capital.^[3]

In July 2021, the company secured $32 million in growth funding in a round led by Insight Partners. The funding was intended to support product development and international expansion as demand for online learning tools increased.^[3][4]

Following the 2021 investment, LearnWorlds expanded its workforce and customer base, serving organizations and independent course creators across more than 120 countries.^[4]

LearnWorlds develops a software-as-a-service learning management platform that supports the creation, delivery, and administration of online education and training programs.^[5]

The platform supports the development of multimedia courses that may include video, audio, text-based content, quizzes, and assessments.^[2]

LearnWorlds provides tools that allow organizations to distribute learning content through branded mobile applications. It is a publisher of learning-related applications used to access course materials on mobile devices.^[6]
