Leadfeeder is a business-to-business software company that develops a website visitor identification and lead generation platform. Founded in 2012 in Helsinki, Finland, the software identifies the companies that visit a subscriber's website and provides associated sales and marketing data.[1][2]
In 2022, Leadfeeder merged with the German sales intelligence company Echobot. The combined business operated under the name Dealfront from 2023 until March 2026, when the company retired the Dealfront brand and unified its products under the Leadfeeder name. The company's legal entity is Dealfront Group GmbH, headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany, with an additional office in Helsinki.[3][2][4]
Leadfeeder was founded in 2012 in Helsinki by Pekka Koskinen and Herkko Kiljunen, and its product was launched in 2014.[2] The software was initially built to work alongside Google Analytics to identify the organisations visiting a website.[1]
In April 2019, the company raised a €3.1 million Series A round led by the Dutch firm Endeit Capital, with participation from the Finnish investors Superhero Capital and Vendep Capital.[1]
In June 2022, Leadfeeder merged with Echobot, a Karlsruhe-based sales intelligence provider founded in 2011 by Bastian Karweg. The growth-equity firm Great Hill Partners invested €180 million (reported by TechCrunch as approximately US$190 million) to combine the two companies, with a further €50 million committed for acquisitions. The merged business was headquartered in Germany.[3][2] The combined company was rebranded as Dealfront in 2023.[3]
In December 2024, the company secured a €30 million credit facility from AshGrove Capital to support growth.[5] In October 2025, Kevin McIntyre was appointed chief executive officer, succeeding Bastian Karweg.[6]
In March 2026, the company retired the Dealfront brand and unified its products under a single Leadfeeder platform. The Dealfront website was redirected to leadfeeder.com, and the legal entity Dealfront Group GmbH was retained.[4][6]
Leadfeeder identifies the companies visiting a subscriber's website using IP address-to-company data, tracks their on-site behaviour, and provides the resulting information to sales and marketing teams.[2] The software is installed by adding a tracking script to a website. It offers integrations with customer relationship management and marketing systems, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Microsoft Dynamics 365.[2]
As of 2026, the company states that its platform is used by more than 15,000 companies.[6] Such usage figures are provided by the company and have not been independently audited.
